We aim to respond to your inquiry within an hour, but it in some cases it may take us a little longer. Please allow us up to 24 hours to process your info, review your request and create a rental agreement. Meanwhile, we would like to remind our future guests to that the Cliffside Retreat is not a waterfront property, but rather a secluded getaway. You will be surrounded by acres of forest, have views of the natural cliff face, the gentle sounds of the nearby creek and dark starry skies at night.
The house is located on a year-round, maintained country road, providing you with plenty of privacy and quiet to relax, unwind, and unplug. There is minimal cell reception on the property, but if you need to stay accessible, enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone will ensure you don’t miss any calls. Thanks to Elon Musk, our internet service, provided by StarLink, offers speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 200Mbps, allowing you to stay connected to the outside world. Please note that there is always potential for power disruptions in rural areas. This does not happen often and our backup generator is on standby to ensure that our guests are not left in the dark.
That being said, we are located just 15 minutes from downtown Huntsville and various activities, trails, and beaches. We are also 10 minutes from Arrowhead and 35 minutes from Algonquin.
