Enjoy the peace and quiet from the cathedral ceiling great room and views overlooking the natural cliff. Spend your day exploring the private forest trails on our 24 acre property, relaxing to the soothing sounds of the creek or the crackle of bonfire under the starry sky.
Welcome to our home. Cliffside Retreat started as a dreamy getaway into nature for our entire family. We have fallen in love with beautiful Canadian Muskoka, and hope to share our special place with our guests.
This house is a new build, and has been outfitted with modern comfort and artistic flair.
The main floor consists of a full bathroom and one guest room with a queen bed. Your stay includes all towels, linens, pillows and extra blankets, as well as bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner and soap.
Our family spends a lot of time in the kitchen, and you will be sure to find it outfitted with the latest appliances and fully stocked with all the staples such as tea, coffee, oil and spices, as well as pots, pans and gadgets for pancake breakfasts and homey dinners. The house feeds on newly drilled well water, which is potable and is checked regularly.
The great room has lots of comfy seating, vaulted ceilings, and views of the beautiful outdoors. Cozy up with a book or puzzle near the wood burning stove, or enjoy a game of cards or scrabble with your group of friends.
On the second floor you will find three more guest rooms, two with queen beds and one with a twin over full bunk. The upstairs bathroom boasts a luxury soaker tub, with additional extras, such as epsom salts, bath bombs and bubbles, to make for a relaxing dip.
The basement is the owners private space and is off limits to guests.
Pardon the landscaping, as we continue to cultivate our outdoor flower meadow. Venture out to the backyard, where you will find a fire pit and Muskoka chairs available for your use.
